Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage an independent research program focused on advanced biochemistry and molecular biology.

Design, execute, and interpret complex experiments to address fundamental biological questions.

Secure external funding through grant writing and proposal submissions.

Mentor and train postdoctoral fellows, research assistants, and graduate students.

Publish research findings in leading scientific journals and present work at international meetings.

Collaborate with other investigators within and outside the institution.

Oversee laboratory operations, including budget management, resource allocation, and compliance with safety regulations.

Contribute to the scientific strategy and vision of the research department.

Stay abreast of the latest scientific advancements and emerging technologies in the field.

Represent the institution at scientific symposia and stakeholder meetings.

Requirements

Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology,



Cell Biology, or a related life science discipline.

A minimum of 8-10 years of postdoctoral and independent research experience, with a strong publication record in high-impact journals.

Demonstrated success in obtaining and managing research grants from national and international funding agencies.

Proven ability to lead and mentor research teams effectively.

Expertise in a broad range of biochemical and molecular biology techniques (e.g., protein purification, enzyme kinetics, gene expression analysis, CRISPR technology, advanced microscopy).

Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of cellular signaling pathways, metabolism, or other relevant biological processes.

Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including grant writing proficiency.

Ability to foster a collaborative and productive research environment.
