Our client, a reputable agency representing professional athletes, is seeking a motivated and well-connected Agente de Jugadores Deportivos (Representante) to join their team in Acapulco, Guerrero, MX . This role involves identifying and recruiting talented athletes, negotiating contracts, managing their careers, and fostering strong relationships within the sports industry. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through complex career decisions and maximizing their professional and financial potential. Key Responsibilities

Scout and identify emerging talent in various sports disciplines.

Build and maintain strong relationships with athletes, coaches, and sports organizations.

Negotiate employment contracts, endorsement deals, and other agreements on behalf of clients.

Manage athletes' careers, including scheduling, travel, and financial planning advice.

Provide guidance and support to clients regarding their professional development and personal branding.

Stay informed about player contracts, league rules, and industry trends.

Represent clients' interests ethically and professionally at all times.

Collaborate with marketing and legal teams to ensure comprehensive client support.

Requirements

Proven experience (3+ years) as a sports agent, player representative,



or in a related role within sports management or talent representation.

Demonstrated success in negotiating contracts and securing deals for athletes.

Strong knowledge of the sports industry, including relevant leagues, regulations, and market dynamics.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

A strong network of contacts within the sports community is highly desirable.

High ethical standards and a commitment to client advocacy.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients simultaneously.

Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business, Law, or a related field is preferred.

Fluency in Spanish and English.

Willingness to travel as needed and work a versátil schedule, including evenings and weekends.
