Role Summary

We are looking for an LBA Recruiter to source, recruit, and hire Licensed Behavior Analysts to support ABA therapy service delivery. This role goes beyond traditional recruiting. You will act as the primary HR partner for LBAs across their lifecycle, from sourcing through credentialing, Medicaid enrollment, and ongoing credential maintenance.

You will guide BCBAs through the New York LBA licensure process, make sure all active LBAs keep current credentials and Medicaid enrollment, and keep accurate, audit-ready records in the HRIS. The role requires an understanding of ABA licensure in New York and Medicaid provider enrollment. You will report directly to the HR Director.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and run sourcing strategies to attract qualified LBAs across NYC, Long Island, and Westchester County
- Post and manage LBA job listings on professional platforms, ABA networks, university partnerships, and licensure boards
- Conduct outreach and screening calls to assess qualifications, licensure status, and availability
- Coordinate interviews with the HR Director and clinical leadership
- Extend offers and manage pre-hire documentation per HR policies
- Maintain an active LBA candidate pipeline with no gaps in coverage
- Serve as primary HR contact for BCBAs pursuing LBA licensure in New York State
- Guide BCBAs through the LBA application process, including documentation, submission, and timelines
- Track each BCBA's accreditation progress and document all completed steps
- Ensure LBAs-in-process are not assigned to billable clinical roles until full licensure is confirmed

- Facilitate Medicaid provider enrollment for incoming LBAs, including collecting and submitting required documents
- Track enrollment status and follow up with Medicaid authorities or LBAs to resolve delays
- Communicate enrollment timelines to clinical operations to prevent service delivery before enrollment is confirmed
- Escalate enrollment denials, revalidations, or compliance issues to the HR Director immediately
- Maintain a master tracker of LBA license expirations, Medicaid revalidation deadlines, and continuing education requirements
- Send renewal reminders at least 90 days before any credential expires and escalate unresolved risks to the HR Director
- Immediately remove or flag LBAs with lapsed credentials from active clinical assignment and notify the HR Director and operations team
- Maintain 100% credential compliance across the LBA workforce
- Keep audit-ready credentialing files for every LBA in the HRIS
- Enter new LBA hire information in the HRIS on the same business day as hire confirmation
- Update HRIS records at each credentialing milestone and correct data discrepancies promptly
- Run HRIS reports on headcount, credential status, and pipeline metrics as requested
- Support HR during audits, regulatory reviews,

and compliance initiatives involving LBA documentation
- Help develop LBA onboarding materials, credential tracking tools, and process improvements
- Complete special projects as assigned and take part in HR team meetings

Qualifications

- High school diploma or GED
- Proficiency in both Spanish and English
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in recruiting, credentialing, provider enrollment, or HR operations
- Prior HRIS administration experience
- Experience with Zoho or similar HRIS platforms (preferred)
- Prior experience in a healthcare, behavioral health, or ABA setting (strongly preferred)
- Experience with Medicaid provider enrollment processes (highly preferred)
- Familiarity with New York State LBA licensure requirements and the BCBA-to-LBA pathway (significant advantage)
- Strong organizational and project management skills, able to manage multiple credentialing timelines at once
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication with clinical professionals
- High attention to detail and commitment to accurate credentialing records
- Ability to handle sensitive professional and regulatory information with discretion
- Self-directed, able to meet compliance deadlines without prompting
- Understanding of ABA therapy delivery and the LBA's clinical role in a Medicaid-funded service model
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms, spreadsheet tracking tools, and professional communication platforms
