About the Role

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and deploy secure and efficient smart contracts on various blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, Polygon).
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement new features and functionalities for decentralized applications (dApps).
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to best practices in smart contract development.
- Optimize smart contract performance and gas efficiency.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in blockchain technology, security vulnerabilities, and emerging smart contract languages and frameworks.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the technical roadmap of our blockchain initiatives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to smart contract deployment and execution.




- Develop comprehensive documentation for smart contracts and related technical processes.

Requirements

- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Smart Contract Developer or similar role within the blockchain industry.
- Strong proficiency in Solidity, Rust, or other relevant smart contract programming languages.
- Deep understanding of blockchain concepts, consensus mechanisms, and distributed ledger technology.
- Experience with relevant development tools and frameworks such as Truffle, Hardhat, Ganache, or Foundry.
- Familiarity with security auditing principles and tools for smart contracts.
- Experience with decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in Spanish and English.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
