About the Role

Our client, a leader in automotive analytics, is seeking a highly skilled Ingeniero de Datos Automotrices for a fully remote position. You will be instrumental in collecting, processing, and analyzing vast amounts of automotive data to drive insights and inform strategic decisions. This role involves working with telematics data, vehicle performance metrics, manufacturing statistics, and customer behavior patterns. Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for automotive data.
- Collect, clean, and transform data from various sources (e.g., vehicle sensors, manufacturing equipment, customer databases).
- Develop and implement machine learning models for predictive maintenance, performance optimization, and customer insights.
- Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, marketing) to understand data needs and deliver solutions.




- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and automotive technology.
- Optimize data processes and algorithms for performance and efficiency.

Requirements

- Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Data Scientist, with a strong focus on data manipulation and analysis.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for remote teamwork.
- Experience in the automotive industry is a strong plus.
