About the Role

Our client, WhatJobs Direct, is seeking a visionary and results-oriented Director de Logística Global to lead their international supply chain operations. This is a fully remote executive position, offering the opportunity to shape and execute global logistics strategies from anywhere in Mexico. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of international freight, customs compliance, warehousing, and distribution across multiple countries. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in global logistics management, a strong understanding of international trade regulations, and exceptional leadership capabilities. You will drive initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the seamless flow of goods worldwide, while maintaining the highest standards of service and compliance. This role requires strategic thinking, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex, multi-faceted operations. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement comprehensive global logistics strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Oversee international transportation, including ocean, air, and land freight.
- Ensure compliance with all international trade regulations, customs laws, and import/export requirements.
- Manage and optimize global warehousing and distribution networks.
- Lead and mentor a global team of logistics professionals.
- Negotiate contracts with carriers, 3PL providers, and other logistics partners.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities across the global supply chain.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)



for global logistics operations.
- Manage logistics budgets and ensure financial objectives are met.
- Mitigate risks and develop contingency plans for potential supply chain disruptions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of logistics operations.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in global logistics and supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex international supply chains.
- Deep understanding of international trade, customs, and compliance regulations.
- Exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management experience.
- Proficiency in global logistics software and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote and multicultural environment.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
