About the Role

Our client, a well-established industrial group, is seeking a highly competent Ingeniero de Planta y Mantenimiento to oversee and enhance the operational efficiency and reliability of their facilities in Puebla, Puebla, MX . This role is essential for ensuring that all production machinery and plant infrastructure are maintained in optimal working condition, minimizing downtime and maximizing output. The idóneo candidate will have a robust background in mechanical or industrial engineering, coupled with significant experience in managing maintenance programs, predictive and preventive maintenance strategies, and facility operations. You will play a key role in improving operational continuity and safety within the plant environment, contributing directly to the company's productivity and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all plant equipment.
- Oversee the planning and execution of corrective maintenance activities, ensuring rapid resolution of equipment failures.
- Manage the maintenance team, including scheduling, performance evaluation, and training.
- Develop and control the maintenance budget, optimizing costs while ensuring adequate resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards related to plant operations and maintenance.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize the impact of maintenance activities on production schedules.




- Analyze maintenance data to identify recurring issues and implement root cause analysis for long-term solutions.
- Manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability and reduce lead times.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies or equipment upgrades to improve plant efficiency and reliability.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of plant operations and maintenance practices.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant engineering, maintenance management, or operations.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems commonly found in industrial settings.
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong understanding of industrial safety regulations and practices.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Spanish is required; basic English knowledge is a plus.
