Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop mechanical systems for special-purpose vehicles, including chassis, suspension, steering, and powertrain integration.
- Create detailed 3D CAD models, 2D drawings,



and schematics for all vehicle components and systems.
- Perform structural analysis (FEA), kinematic analysis, and vehicle dynamics simulations to optimize design performance and safety.
- Select appropriate materials, components, and manufacturing processes for vehicle construction.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing teams to ensure integrated system functionality.
- Oversee prototype development, build, and testing, providing technical guidance and problem resolution.
- Conduct road testing and validation of vehicle systems to ensure performance and reliability standards are met.
- Stay updated on emerging automotive technologies, materials, and design trends.
- Document design decisions, test results, and technical specifications.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in automotive design, with a focus on chassis, suspension, or vehicle systems integration.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, Adams).
- Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, kinematics, and structural mechanics.
- Experience with powertrain integration and component selection.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, essential for collaborative design.
- Experience with custom vehicle fabrication or modification is a significant plus.
