About the Role

Our client is a rapidly expanding international food service brand seeking an experienced and dynamic Gerente de Restaurante for its new location in Mexicali, Baja California . This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to take ownership of a key establishment, drive sales, manage operations, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the restaurant, from staff management and training to inventory control and local marketing initiatives. You will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining brand standards while adapting to the local market demands in Mexicali .

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
- Manage, train, and develop a team of service staff, fostering a positive and customer-focused culture.
- Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and brand standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage ordering, and control food and beverage costs.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints effectively.
- Develop and execute local marketing and promotional strategies to drive traffic and sales.
- Analyze sales data and financial reports to identify areas for improvement.




- Maintain the physical appearance and cleanliness of the restaurant.
- Collaborate with regional management on operational strategies and performance metrics.

Requirements

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably with a recognized franchise or chain.
- Proven track record of success in driving sales, controlling costs, and managing teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with P&L; statements, inventory management, and scheduling.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (e.g., HACCP).
- Ability to work adaptable hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Passion for customer service and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences.
- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Mexicali, Baja California.
