About the Role

Our client, a leader in automotive component manufacturing, is seeking a meticulous and analytical Ingeniero de Diagnóstico y Validación Automotriz to join their technical services team in San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosí . This role is critical for ensuring the reliability, performance, and compliance of automotive systems through rigorous testing and diagnostic procedures. You will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, analyzing results, and providing detailed feedback to engineering and production teams. Key Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive test plans and procedures for automotive electronic control units (ECUs) and systems.
- Execute diagnostic tests and functional validation on prototype and production vehicles/components.
- Utilize diagnostic tools, oscilloscopes, data loggers, and other relevant equipment.
- Analyze test data, identify anomalies, and document findings accurately.
- Collaborate with design and development engineers to resolve issues identified during testing.
- Ensure all testing activities comply with automotive industry standards (e.g., ISO 26262) and customer specifications.
- Prepare detailed test reports and present results to project teams.




- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Support field issue investigations by providing diagnostic expertise.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in automotive diagnostics, testing, or validation.
- Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools (e.g., CANalyzer, INCA) and measurement equipment.
- Strong understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
- Experience with embedded software testing is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with functional safety standards (ISO 26262) is desirable.
- Fluency in Spanish; working knowledge of English is beneficial.
