About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software across the entire stack, with a focus on backend services and APIs. Lead the design and implementation of new features and services, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and deliver innovative educational tools. Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with the team. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices,



advocating for their adoption where appropriate. Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of professional software development experience. Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, or Node.js. Experience designing and building scalable distributed systems and RESTful APIs. Solid understanding of database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL databases). Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure). Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience in the EdTech industry is a significant advantage.
