About the Role

Our client, a leading company in the Energía sector, is actively seeking a skilled and dedicated Specialist Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician to join our operational team based in Puebla, Puebla . This role is essential for ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our wind farm assets. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on wind turbine equipment, contributing directly to the reliability and efficiency of our clean energy generation. This position requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to safety and quality in a field-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on wind turbines, including inspections, lubrication, and component replacements according to manufacturer guidelines and internal procedures.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues within wind turbine systems.
- Conduct necessary repairs and replacements of turbine components, such as gearboxes, generators, blades, and control systems.
- Utilize specialized diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults and assess the condition of turbine components.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used in the company's maintenance management system.
- Ensure adherence to all company safety policies and procedures, including working at heights and in challenging environmental conditions.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and engineers to report on turbine status, identify recurring issues, and suggest improvements.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new wind turbines as required.




- Participate in training programs to stay updated on new technologies and maintenance techniques.
- Respond to turbine fault alarms and perform emergency repairs as needed.

Requirements

- High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical degree or certification in a relevant field (e.g., Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Technology) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy machinery, with at least 3 years specifically on wind turbines.
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic data.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) systems is essential.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and test equipment.Excellent problem-solving abilities and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in demanding field conditions.
- Willingness to work adaptable hours, including weekends and holidays, and travel to various sites as needed.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
