About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Desarrollador de Firmware para Sistemas Embebidos to join their innovative product development team in Torreón, Coahuila . This position is critical for designing, developing, testing, and debugging embedded software for next-generation electronic devices. You will work closely with hardware engineers and application developers to create robust and efficient firmware solutions that power our innovative products. The adecuado candidate possesses a deep understanding of C/C++ programming, microcontroller architectures, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and hardware-software interaction. Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain firmware for embedded systems using C and C++.
- Implement drivers and libraries for various hardware peripherals (e.g., sensors, communication interfaces, memory).
- Develop and manage real-time operating systems (RTOS) for embedded applications.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to define system requirements and ensure seamless integration.
- Write and execute unit tests and integration tests to ensure firmware reliability and performance.
- Debug complex hardware and software issues using debugging tools and techniques.
- Optimize firmware for performance, memory usage,



and power consumption.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of coding standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in embedded systems development.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in embedded firmware development.
- Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.
- Experience with microcontroller architectures (e.g., ARM Cortex-M, PIC, AVR).
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or VxWorks.
- Experience with communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, Ethernet).
- Proficiency with debugging tools (e.g., JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
- Understanding of embedded system design principles and software development lifecycle.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
