About the Role

Our client, a renowned manufacturer of heavy machinery for construction and infrastructure projects, is seeking a creative and experienced Ingeniero de Diseño Mecánico to join their team in Naucalpan, State of Mexico, MX . This role involves the conceptualization, design, and development of robust and reliable heavy equipment. You will utilize advanced CAD tools to create detailed designs, perform complex analyses, and collaborate with manufacturing teams to bring innovative machinery to life. The idóneo candidate will have a proven track record in designing large-scale mechanical systems, a strong understanding of materials, and a passion for engineering excellence in demanding applications. We are looking for individuals who can tackle challenging design problems and contribute to the development of high-performance machinery.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for heavy machinery, including chassis, powertrains, hydraulic systems, and operator cabins.
- Utilize advanced 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD Inventor) for creating detailed designs and assemblies.
- Perform structural, stress, and thermal analysis using FEA tools to ensure design integrity and durability.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to ensure designs are optimized for production efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Create and manage comprehensive technical documentation, including drawings, specifications,



and bills of materials (BOMs).
- Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation activities.
- Troubleshoot design-related issues encountered during manufacturing or field operation.
- Stay abreast of new technologies, materials, and manufacturing techniques relevant to heavy equipment design.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, with a focus on heavy machinery, construction equipment, or similar industrial applications.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software and CAE/FEA tools.
- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes (machining, welding, casting), and mechanical systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, drivetrains).
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations for heavy equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines.
- Spanish fluency required; knowledge of English is a plus.
