About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and organized Coordinador(a) de Programas de Alfabetización y Educación para Adultos to lead initiatives aimed at improving literacy and educational attainment for adults in Naucalpan, State of Mexico, MX . This role is pivotal in developing, implementing, and managing programs that provide foundational education, literacy skills, and lifelong learning opportunities. You will coordinate curriculum development, manage instructors and volunteers, outreach to potential learners, and ensure program quality and accessibility. This position is fully remote, enabling flexibility in managing program logistics and outreach efforts while ensuring impactful educational services are delivered. The idóneo candidate possesses a passion for adult education, strong program management skills, and a commitment to empowering individuals through knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and oversee programs for adult literacy and basic education. Recruit, train, and manage instructors and volunteers involved in program delivery. Design and adapt curriculum materials to meet the diverse needs of adult learners. Develop and execute outreach strategies to recruit participants and promote program awareness. Establish partnerships with community organizations, libraries, and local businesses to support program goals. Monitor program progress, collect data on learner outcomes, and prepare regular reports for stakeholders. Manage program budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and financial accountability.



Ensure that all program activities are delivered in an accessible and culturally responsive manner. Stay informed about best practices and innovations in adult education and literacy. Provide direct support and guidance to program participants as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education, Adult Education, Linguistics, Social Work, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 4 years of experience in program coordination or management, preferably in adult education or literacy programs. Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and instructional design for adult learners. Strong understanding of adult learning principles and methodologies. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage staff and volunteers effectively. Experience in outreach and recruitment strategies for adult programs. Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting. Familiarity with resources and educational needs in Naucalpan, State of Mexico, MX is advantageous.
