About the Role

Our client is actively recruiting a compassionate and skilled Coordinador de Apoyo Psicosocial a Víctimas to lead critical services in Culiacán, Sinaloa, MX . This pivotal role involves developing and managing programs that provide essential emotional, psychological, and social support to individuals and communities affected by trauma, crisis, or violence. You will be responsible for coordinating outreach, case management, and therapeutic interventions, ensuring victims receive timely and effective assistance. This position demands a strong understanding of trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and community resource navigation. The role is primarily remote, allowing for broad reach and accessibility while maintaining focus on the well‑being of those in need.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement comprehensive psychosocial support programs for victims of crime, disaster, or trauma.
- Coordinate direct services including crisis intervention, emotional support, and case management for affected individuals and families.
- Develop and deliver training to community responders and volunteers on trauma-informed care and victim support.
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with local law enforcement, healthcare providers, legal services, and community organizations.
- Manage program data, track client progress, and generate reports on program outcomes and impact.
- Develop outreach strategies to raise awareness and ensure access to services within the affected communities.
- Provide guidance and support to a team of case workers and volunteers.




- Advocate for the rights and needs of victims within relevant systems and agencies.
- Ensure all services are delivered in a culturally sensitive and ethical manner.
- Stay current with best practices in victim services, trauma response, and psychosocial support.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in victim services, crisis intervention, trauma counseling, or psychosocial support programs.
- Proven experience in program development, management, and coordination.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles and victimology.
- Excellent crisis intervention, counseling, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations in stressful situations.
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting using relevant software.
- Knowledge of community resources and referral networks in Culiacán, Sinaloa, MX .
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively in a remote setting.
