About the Role

Our client, WhatJobs Direct , is seeking a visionary and experienced Gerente de Limpieza y Saneamiento de Hoteles Remoto to lead the sanitation strategies for hotel properties virtually. This fully remote role allows you to direct cleaning operations and uphold the highest hygiene standards across multiple locations without being physically present on-site daily. You will develop and implement comprehensive cleaning protocols, train management teams remotely, and ensure compliance with health regulations and brand standards. The idóneo candidate will possess a deep understanding of hospitality operations, guest satisfaction drivers related to cleanliness, and advanced sanitation techniques. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining impeccable environments that enhance guest experiences and ensure operational excellence, all managed through digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, standardize, and document cleaning and sanitation protocols for hotel operations, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house. Provide remote training and support to hotel General Managers and Housekeeping teams on best practices and new procedures. Conduct virtual audits and inspections by reviewing reports, photos, videos, and guest feedback. Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international health and safety regulations relevant to the hospitality industry. Manage inventory and procurement of cleaning supplies and equipment across hotel properties, optimizing costs and quality. Stay informed about the latest trends in hotel cleanliness, guest expectations, and sustainable cleaning solutions. Analyze operational data, guest satisfaction scores, and feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.



Collaborate with hotel leadership to address any specific cleanliness challenges or implement special cleaning initiatives. Develop and implement staff training programs on infection control and enhanced cleaning procedures. Foster a culture of cleanliness and attention to detail among hotel staff through remote engagement and recognition.

Requirements

Requirements Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in hotel management or housekeeping management, with a strong focus on sanitation and operational standards. Proven experience in developing and implementing cleaning protocols and training programs. In-depth knowledge of hotel cleaning standards, disinfectant efficacy, and infection control measures. Excellent remote communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with virtual meeting platforms, property management systems (PMS), and digital reporting tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote setting. Understanding of budgeting and cost control related to housekeeping operations. Experience with sustainable cleaning practices is a plus.
