About the Role

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct in-depth security audits of smart contracts, blockchain protocols, and dApps.
- Identify and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities within the blockchain ecosystem.
- Develop and implement advanced security measures and protocols to protect against threats.
- Design and deploy secure cryptographic solutions for blockchain applications.
- Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and code reviews.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures for blockchain security events.
- Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams (development, operations) to ensure security best practices are integrated.
- Stay current with emerging blockchain security threats, attack vectors, and mitigation techniques.
- Contribute to the development of security policies, standards, and guidelines.




- Automate security testing and monitoring processes using scripting languages.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in cybersecurity, with a significant focus on blockchain security.
- Strong understanding of blockchain technologies (e.g., Ethereum, Bitcoin, Layer 2 solutions) and their security implications.
- Expertise in smart contract security auditing (Solidity, Vyper) and common vulnerability patterns.
- Proficiency in cryptography and its application in blockchain.
- Experience with security analysis tools, penetration testing methodologies, and vulnerability management.
- Familiarity with cloud security principles is beneficial.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, asynchronous environment.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for automation.
