About the Role

Our client is searching for an exceptional Jefe de Sala Premium to lead the front-of-house operations at their acclaimed restaurant in Mexicali, Baja California . You will be responsible for managing the service team, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining the sophisticated ambiance that our client is known for. Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and guide the dining room staff, including servers, hosts, and bussers, ensuring adherence to service standards.
- Create a welcoming and elegant atmosphere for all guests, anticipating their needs and exceeding expectations.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient service flow and timely delivery of orders.
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and table management to optimize guest experience and venue capacity.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and grace.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings to brief the team on menu specials, service points, and guest needs.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
- Assist in staff training and development, focusing on service techniques and product knowledge.




- Monitor service quality and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Collaborate with the General Manager on operational improvements and cost management.

Requirements

- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Maître d', Head Waiter, or similar front-of-house leadership role in a high-end establishment.
- Excellent knowledge of fine dining etiquette, service protocols, and culinary arts.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with reservation systems and POS technology.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and customer service excellence.
- Availability to work versátil hours, including nights and weekends.
- A keen eye for detail and presentation.
- Experience in a bilingual environment (Spanish/English) is a plus.
