About the Role

Our client, a major player in the e-commerce and logistics industry, is seeking a highly competent and experienced Distribution Center Operations Manager for their facility in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua . This crucial role will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of all warehouse and distribution activities, ensuring timely order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and cost control. The adecuado candidate will possess a deep understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), lean operations, and workforce management in a high-volume environment. You will lead a large team of warehouse associates and supervisors, driving a culture of safety, productivity, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day operations of the distribution center, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control in Ciudad Juárez .
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
- Manage and optimize the use of warehouse space, equipment, and labor resources.




- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and implement best practices for a safe working environment.
- Lead, train, and mentor warehouse supervisors and associates, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Implement and leverage warehouse management systems (WMS) to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to throughput, accuracy, on-time delivery, and costs.
- Collaborate with other departments, including transportation and inventory planning, to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in warehouse and distribution center operations management.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale warehouse operations and achieving operational excellence.
- Strong knowledge of WMS, lean principles, and inventory management techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience managing large teams in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid operational model.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua area.
