About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Gerente de Operaciones Farmacéuticas Regional to lead and manage the pharmaceutical operations across multiple facilities in the northwestern region, with a primary focus on the Culiacán, Sinaloa area. This senior leadership position requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in pharmacy management, supply chain optimization, and regulatory compliance. The Gerente will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, driving efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of pharmaceutical care and safety across all assigned locations. This role offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to shape pharmaceutical services at a regional level.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the daily operations of pharmacy services in designated regional facilities.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance pharmacy operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage pharmaceutical budgets, including procurement, inventory control, and cost containment initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.
- Lead, mentor, and develop pharmacy teams across multiple sites, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to ensure optimal patient safety and medication management.
- Collaborate with corporate leadership and site-specific management to align pharmaceutical services with organizational goals.
- Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of pharmacy technology and automation.




- Manage relationships with pharmaceutical suppliers and distributors.
- Identify opportunities for service expansion and innovation within the region.

Requirements

- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid pharmacy license in Mexico.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in pharmacy management, with at least 3 years in a regional or multi-site leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing pharmacy operations, budgets, and supply chains.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., COFEPRIS).
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, operational improvement, and change management.
- Excellent leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software and data analysis tools.
- Ability to travel as needed to various regional locations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality improvement.
