About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Coordinador de Transporte y Logística Nacional to join their team in Hermosillo, Sonora, MX . This role is instrumental in managing the efficient movement of goods across the country, ensuring timely deliveries and cost-effective transportation solutions. The idóneo candidate will have a solid understanding of national logistics networks, carrier management, and freight optimization. You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of transportation, from planning and execution to tracking and problem-solving. Key Responsibilities

- Plan, organize, and coordinate all national transportation activities.
- Select and manage relationships with transportation carriers, ensuring service quality and competitive pricing.
- Optimize transportation routes and modes to minimize costs and delivery times.
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively address any delays or issues.
- Negotiate freight rates and contract terms with carriers.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards.




- Analyze transportation data to identify trends, efficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams to ensure smooth integration of transportation processes.
- Prepare reports on transportation performance, costs, and service levels.
- Resolve transportation-related issues and disputes with carriers and customers.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in transportation and logistics coordination.
- Proven experience in managing national freight operations.
- Strong knowledge of transportation modes, carrier networks, and freight management.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and related software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Must be able to work from Hermosillo, Sonora, MX on a hybrid basis.
