About the Role

Our client, a leading innovator in the Bienes de consumo masivo (FMCG) industry, is seeking a seasoned Factory Operations Director to oversee operations at their state-of-the-art facility in Hermosillo, Sonora, MX . This executive-level position demands a strategic leader with extensive experience in manufacturing, production management, and operational excellence within a high-volume environment. The Director will be responsible for driving efficiency, ensuring product quality, managing costs, and promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership capabilities, a deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles, and a proven ability to manage large teams and complex production processes. This role is critical to maintaining our client's competitive edge and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality products to market.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee all aspects of factory operations, including production planning, manufacturing, quality control, maintenance, and logistics.
- Develop and implement strategic operational plans to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality control protocols.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Manage the factory budget, optimize resource allocation, and control operational expenditures.
- Drive initiatives for process optimization, waste reduction, and the adoption of new manufacturing technologies.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as supply chain, R&D;, and sales,



to align operational capabilities with business objectives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to meet or exceed operational targets.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing and operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the Bienes de consumo masivo (FMCG) sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale manufacturing operations and driving operational excellence.
- In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Exceptional leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing operational budgets.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in manufacturing execution systems (MES) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Must be willing to relocate to or reside in Hermosillo, Sonora, MX.
