About the Role

Our client, a major distribution company specializing in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), is seeking a meticulous and proactive Coordinador/a de Logística y Cadena de Suministro to join their operations in Toluca, State of Mexico . This role is instrumental in optimizing the flow of goods from suppliers to customers, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness throughout the supply chain. You will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating transportation, and collaborating with various stakeholders to streamline logistics processes. Key Responsibilities

- Oversee and manage daily logistics operations, including inventory control, warehousing, and transportation.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance delivery times.
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure smooth product flow.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement effective inventory management techniques to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
- Plan and optimize transportation routes and modes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare reports on logistics performance, inventory levels, and transportation costs for management review.




- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards in logistics operations.
- Collaborate with the sales and procurement teams to forecast demand and plan accordingly.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a similar role.
- Proven experience with inventory management systems and transportation management software (TMS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers and carriers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and on-site responsibilities in Toluca .
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations is a plus.
- Detail-oriented and results-driven mindset.
