Key Responsibilities

- Lead a team of scientists and technicians, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Design and oversee complex experiments in biochemistry, molecular biology, and pharmacology.
- Develop and validate innovative assays for target identification and drug screening.
- Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and present findings at international conferences and in peer-reviewed publications.
- Write grant proposals to secure funding from government agencies and private foundations.
- Collaborate with external academic institutions and industry partners to advance research programs.

Requirements

- Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of post-doctoral research experience, with a significant portion in drug discovery and development.
- Demonstrated track record of independent research, publications in high-impact journals, and successful grant funding.
- Extensive experience in assay development, high-throughput screening, and lead optimization.
- Strong knowledge of cellular signaling pathways, molecular targets, and disease mechanisms.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate scientific staff.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and grant writing proficiency.
- Experience working in a remote or distributed research environment.
- Proficiency in relevant scientific software and data analysis tools.
