About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary Ingeniero de I+D de Materiales Compuestos Avanzados to join their innovative research and development team in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas . Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop advanced composite material systems, including fiber selection, matrix formulation, and manufacturing processes.
- Conduct research into novel manufacturing techniques for composite materials (e.g., additive manufacturing, resin transfer molding).
- Characterize the mechanical, thermal, and physical properties of composite materials using advanced techniques (e.g., tensile testing, SEM, DSC).
- Evaluate material performance under simulated service conditions, including environmental and fatigue testing.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data to understand structure-property relationships.




- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to scale up new materials and processes.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in composite materials science and technology.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to intellectual property development through patent applications.

Requirements

- Master's or Ph.D. in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the research and development of advanced composite materials.
- Strong knowledge of polymer chemistry, fiber reinforcement, and composite manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency with material characterization techniques (e.g., microscopy, spectroscopy, thermal analysis, mechanical testing).
- Experience with design of experiments (DoE) and statistical data analysis.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a research team.
- Experience with computational modeling of composite materials is a plus.
