About the Role

Our client, a leading automotive parts manufacturer located near Torreón, Coahuila , is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Project Management Specialist to oversee new product introductions and process improvement initiatives. This role requires a blend of technical understanding of manufacturing processes and strong project management skills to ensure successful implementation of projects that enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The adecuado candidate will be adept at managing cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, quality assurance, and supply chain, to achieve project objectives. Key Responsibilities

- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of manufacturing-related projects, from concept to launch.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure project alignment.
- Implement and monitor project schedules, budgets, and performance metrics.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans as needed.
- Facilitate cross-functional team meetings, ensuring effective communication and decision-making.
- Oversee the introduction of new products and technologies into the manufacturing environment.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts in manufacturing processes using Lean and Six Sigma principles.




- Manage vendor relationships and the procurement of equipment and materials.
- Ensure all projects comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, automotive industry standards preferred.
- Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and ERP systems.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams remotely.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Flexibility to travel occasionally if required by the project.
