About the Role

Our client, a reputable manufacturer of precision mechanical components, is seeking a meticulous and driven Ingeniero de Calidad Mecánica y Procesos to ensure the highest standards of quality in their operations in Cuernavaca, Morelos . This role is essential for developing, implementing, and monitoring quality control systems and processes throughout the manufacturing lifecycle. The adecuado candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, quality management tools, and statistical process control (SPC). You will be responsible for identifying quality issues, implementing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and standards for mechanical components and manufacturing processes.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilize statistical process control (SPC) techniques to monitor and improve process capability.
- Analyze quality data, identify root causes of defects, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and improve product reliability.
- Manage and maintain quality documentation, including inspection records, test reports, and quality manuals.




- Oversee the calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment.
- Participate in supplier quality audits and ensure the quality of incoming materials.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis).
- Strong understanding of mechanical inspection techniques and metrology.
- Experience with measurement equipment and calibration procedures.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in Spanish, with the ability to understand technical documentation in English.
- Experience in the precision manufacturing or automotive industry is a plus.
