Key Responsibilities

- Plan, organize, and conduct mediation sessions for various community conflicts.
- Ensure a safe, neutral, and confidential environment for all parties involved in mediation.
- Guide participants through a structured process to identify issues, explore options, and reach mutually agreeable solutions.
- Maintain impartiality and neutrality throughout the mediation process.
- Prepare mediation agreements collaboratively with the parties involved.
- Follow up with participants to assess the effectiveness of agreements and provide additional support if needed.
- Develop and deliver workshops or presentations on conflict resolution and mediation techniques.




- Maintain accurate records of mediation cases and outcomes.
- Collaborate with community leaders and organizations to promote mediation services.
- Stay updated on best practices and legal frameworks related to mediation and conflict resolution.

Requirements

- Certification in mediation or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Proven experience as a mediator, preferably in community or social settings.
- Strong understanding of conflict dynamics, negotiation, and communication strategies.
- Excellent active listening, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm, objective, and effective under pressure.
- Proficiency in remote communication tools for administrative tasks and virtual consultations.
- Availability to conduct in-person mediation sessions in and around Culiacán, Sinaloa, MX.
- Knowledge of local community issues and cultural nuances is advantageous.
- Strong report writing and record-keeping abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education in social sciences, law, or psychology preferred.
