About the Role

Our client is seeking a passionate and organized Sustainable Development Projects Coordinator to manage and support key initiatives focused on environmental and social responsibility. This role is critical in driving the implementation of sustainable practices and ensuring projects meet their objectives from inception to completion. The adecuado candidate will have a strong understanding of sustainability principles, excellent project coordination skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and reporting. This is a contract position offering a flexible, remote work arrangement, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere, while supporting our ongoing efforts in the Puebla, Puebla region and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate the planning, execution, and monitoring of various sustainable development projects.
- Assist in defining project scopes, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Track project progress, manage documentation, and ensure timely reporting on project status and outcomes.
- Liaise with internal departments, external partners, and community stakeholders to facilitate project activities.
- Support the development and implementation of sustainability strategies and initiatives.
- Identify potential risks and challenges in project execution and propose mitigation strategies.
- Conduct research on best practices in sustainable development and relevant industry trends.
- Organize and facilitate project meetings,



workshops, and stakeholder consultations.
- Manage project budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Contribute to the preparation of grant proposals and funding applications.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, International Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in sustainability or development projects.
- Strong understanding of sustainability concepts, environmental regulations, and social responsibility principles.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Trello, Asana).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Experience with data analysis and report writing.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote setting.
- Knowledge of environmental and social impact assessment methodologies is a plus.
- Must be available to work remotely, ideally with some overlap with Central American time zones.
