Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed geological mapping and structural analysis to identify potential mineral deposits.
- Develop and implement exploration programs, including drilling campaigns and geophysical surveys.
- Perform resource and reserve estimations using industry-standard software.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including geophysicists, metallurgists, and mining engineers.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations for stakeholders and management.
- Monitor and analyze geological data from active mining operations to ensure optimal resource extraction.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and safety standards.




- Contribute to the long-term strategic planning of mining operations.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geological Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in geological exploration and mine development.
- Proficiency in geological modeling and resource estimation software (e.g., Leapfrog, Vulcan, Surpac).
- Strong understanding of geostatistics and mineral economics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish.
- Experience with international mining projects is a plus.
- Must be legally authorized to work remotely from Morelia, Michoacán, MX or any other location within Mexico.
