About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Coordinador de Logística Global y Cadena de Suministro to join their fully remote team. This position is critical for overseeing and optimizing the company's international supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods across borders. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of global logistics, international trade regulations, customs compliance, and supply chain best practices. As a remote-first role, you will leverage technology and communication tools to collaborate effectively with teams and partners worldwide. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a proven ability to manage complex global logistics challenges from anywhere within Mexico.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate international logistics activities, including freight forwarding, customs clearance, and transportation.
- Ensure compliance with all international trade laws, regulations, and documentation requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize global supply chain costs and improve transit times.
- Monitor global shipment movements, proactively identifying and resolving potential disruptions.
- Liaise with international suppliers, carriers, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
- Maintain accurate records of all international logistics transactions and documentation.
- Stay abreast of global trade trends, economic conditions,



and regulatory changes impacting supply chains.
- Support the development and implementation of new logistics technologies and processes.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among integral team members and external partners.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in global logistics and supply chain management.
- In-depth knowledge of international shipping, customs procedures, and trade compliance.
- Proven experience in managing international freight (air, sea, land).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a remote environment.
- Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and collaboration tools.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
- Must be legally authorized to work remotely within Mexico.
