About the Role

Our client, a renowned video game development studio, is seeking an innovative and experienced Gerente de Producto para Videojuegos Deportivos to lead the development and strategy of their sports gaming titles in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco . Key Responsibilities

- Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for sports video game titles.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and player feedback analysis to identify opportunities.
- Translate product strategy into detailed product requirements, user stories, and feature specifications.
- Prioritize features and manage the product backlog in collaboration with development teams.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch and post-launch support.
- Work closely with game designers, artists, engineers, and QA testers to ensure high-quality product delivery.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies.
- Define key product metrics (KPIs) and analyze performance data to inform future development.

- Stay up-to-date with trends in the video game industry, particularly in the sports genre.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Computer Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a significant focus on video games, preferably sports titles.
- Demonstrated success in launching and managing successful video game products.
- Strong understanding of game development processes and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for video games and sports.
- Experience with agile development and project management tools (e.g., Jira).
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco .
