About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Assist in monitoring network traffic for suspicious activities and potential security threats. Support the implementation and maintenance of security software and hardware. Help in conducting vulnerability scans and assisting in the remediation process. Respond to basic security alerts and escal. Participate in security awareness training sessions. Contribute to the documentation of security procedures and incident reports. Learn and apply industry best practices in cybersecurity under mentorship.



Assist in ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. 0-2 years of experience in an IT or cybersecurity role. Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP). Familiarity with security principles and common vulnerabilities. Eagerness to learn and develop technical skills in cybersecurity. Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Proficiency in Spanish; basic English proficiency is a plus. Must be able to work full-time in our Acapulco, Guerrero office.
