About the Role

Our client, a distinguished company in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is actively seeking a Senior Product Manager to spearhead product innovation and strategy for their food and beverage division in Toluca, State of Mexico . This role demands a visionary leader who can identify market trends, develop compelling product propositions, and drive successful product launches from concept to market. The adecuado candidate will possess a proven track record in product management within the FMCG food and beverage space, combined with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of consumer preferences. This is a hybrid role, offering a blend of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility, based in the thriving industrial hub of Toluca . You will be responsible for enhancing the product portfolio and ensuring its competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for the food and beverage category, aligning with overall business goals.
- Conduct thorough market research, consumer insights analysis, and competitive landscape assessments to identify new product opportunities and drive innovation.
- Lead the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and concept development to product launch, commercialization, and end-of-life management.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D;, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain, to ensure successful product development and market introduction.
- Develop compelling product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans.
- Manage product P&L;, pricing strategies, and profitability for the assigned product lines.
- Monitor product performance, analyze sales data, and gather customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and future development.




- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes affecting the food and beverage market.
- Present product strategies and performance updates to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Ensure the quality and compliance of all products within the assigned category in line with company standards and regulations.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Food Science, or a related field.
- MBA or Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in product management, with a significant focus on the FMCG food and beverage sector.
- Demonstrated success in launching new products and managing product portfolios that have achieved market success.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent understanding of consumer behavior and market dynamics in the Mexican food and beverage industry.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with P&L; management and pricing strategies.
- Proficiency in using data analysis tools and market research methodologies.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Toluca area and comfortable with a hybrid work model.
- Authorized to work in Mexico.
