Key Responsibilities

- Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and relevant tax regulations.




- Conduct internal audits and implement improvements to accounting processes and controls.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Support the accounting team with ad-hoc financial projects and analyses.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF) and tax laws.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with auditing procedures is a plus.
- Fluency in Spanish is required; English proficiency is an advantage.
