Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement sophisticated statistical models and machine learning algorithms to analyze large, complex datasets.
- Develop data pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various sources.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies relevant to research objectives.
- Build and deploy predictive models to forecast future outcomes and inform strategic planning.
- Visualize data and present findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate closely with research teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and research questions.
- Evaluate and implement new data analysis tools and technologies to enhance research capabilities.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with privacy regulations.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the team's technical growth.




- Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

Requirements

- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in data science or a similar analytical role.
- Demonstrated expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, deep learning).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and associated data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Strong understanding of data manipulation, data mining, and data visualization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing data challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting.
