Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for automotive transmissions, including gearboxes, shafts, and associated parts.
- Utilize CAD software for creating detailed 3D models, drawings, and assemblies of transmission components.
- Perform advanced engineering analysis, including stress, fatigue, thermal,



and vibration analysis using FEA tools.
- Conduct performance simulations and calculations to optimize transmission efficiency, durability, and NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) characteristics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D;, manufacturing, testing) to ensure design feasibility and successful product launch.
- Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for transmission components, considering cost and performance.
- Develop and execute test plans for validating transmission designs and components.
- Troubleshoot design-related issues encountered during development and production phases.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in transmission design and automotive engineering.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, with a specialization in automotive transmissions or powertrains.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, NX) and FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus).
