About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Researcher to join our pioneering R&D; team based in Zapopan, Jalisco . This position is focused on exploring the frontiers of nanotechnology to develop novel materials with unique properties for diverse applications. You will be instrumental in designing experiments, synthesizing nanomaterials, and characterizing their performance. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct theoretical and experimental research in the field of nanotechnology and advanced materials.
- Design, synthesize, and characterize novel nanomaterials, including nanoparticles, nanotubes, and thin films.
- Utilize advanced microscopy and spectroscopy techniques (e.g., TEM, SEM, AFM, XPS) for material analysis.
- Explore the application of nanomaterials in areas such as electronics, energy, and medicine.
- Develop and optimize fabrication processes for nanostructured materials.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate nanomaterials into functional devices and systems.
- Analyze research data, interpret results, and prepare comprehensive technical reports and publications.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements and trends in nanotechnology research worldwide.




- Contribute to the intellectual property portfolio through patent applications.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices in the laboratory environment.

Requirements

- Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a strong focus on nanotechnology.
- Demonstrated experience in the synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials.
- Proficiency with relevant analytical and characterization equipment (e.g., electron microscopy, spectroscopy).
- Strong understanding of the fundamental principles of quantum mechanics and solid-state physics relevant to nanomaterials.
- Experience in computational modeling or simulation of nanoscale phenomena is a plus.
- Proven ability to design and execute complex research projects.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote research setting.
- Familiarity with cleanroom practices and micro/nanofabrication techniques is desirable.
