About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Técnico Especialista en Motores Eléctricos Automotrices to join their team in Toluca, State of Mexico . This role is critical for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electric vehicle (EV) powertrains and related electrical systems. The adecuado candidate will have a strong hands-on background and a deep understanding of high-voltage systems, battery technology, and electric motor operation. You will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our clients' electric vehicle fleet, performing intricate repairs and proactive maintenance. This is an on-site position offering the chance to work with the latest EV technology in a state-of-the-art facility. Key Responsibilities

- Perform detailed diagnostics on electric vehicle powertrains, including electric motors, inverters, and battery management systems.
- Conduct repairs and replacements of high-voltage components with strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Execute routine maintenance schedules for electric vehicle fleets.
- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic data to identify and resolve issues.
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment for EV maintenance and repair.
- Test and verify the functionality and performance of repaired electric vehicle systems.




- Document all work performed, including diagnostics, repairs, and parts used.
- Stay updated on new EV technologies, repair techniques, and safety standards.
- Assist in training junior technicians on electric vehicle systems.

Requirements

- Technical degree or certification in Automotive Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience specifically with electric vehicle (EV) maintenance and repair.
- Proven experience working with high-voltage automotive systems and safety procedures.
- Strong understanding of electric motors, inverters, battery systems, and charging infrastructure.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic scan tools and multimeters for EV systems.
- Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and service manuals.
- Excellent mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
