About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative and dedicated Ingeniero de Investigación en Procesos Químicos Sostenibles to join their R&D; team in Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico . This role is critical for developing and optimizing greener chemical processes, focusing on reducing environmental impact, increasing efficiency, and utilizing renewable resources. You will be involved in laboratory-scale research, pilot plant studies, and process modeling to bring sustainable chemical technologies to fruition. Key Responsibilities

Research, design, and develop novel sustainable chemical processes. Optimize existing chemical processes to reduce waste, energy consumption, and environmental footprint. Investigate and apply green chemistry principles and catalysis in process development. Conduct laboratory experiments and pilot‑scale trials to validate process concepts. Utilize process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen Plus) to model and analyze chemical processes. Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and provide recommendations for process improvement. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including chemists, engineers,



and environmental specialists. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in sustainable chemical engineering and green technologies. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and publications documenting research findings.

Requirements

Master's or Ph.
D. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in chemical process research and development, preferably focusing on sustainability. Strong understanding of reaction engineering, catalysis, thermodynamics, and separation processes. Experience with laboratory equipment and analytical techniques relevant to chemical processes. Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS). Knowledge of green chemistry principles and sustainable manufacturing practices. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Experience with pilot plant operations is a plus.
