About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary and experienced Director(a) de Servicios para Personas sin Hogar to lead their critical initiatives in Querétaro City, Querétaro, MX . This senior leadership position is responsible for the strategic direction, operational management, and overall success of programs designed to assist individuals experiencing homelessness. You will oversee a dedicated team, manage budgets, foster community partnerships, and advocate for policy changes to address the root causes of homelessness. This is a fully remote role, offering the flexibility to manage operations and lead outreach efforts from anywhere, while maintaining a strong connection to the local community needs. The idóneo candidate possesses exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of homelessness issues, and a passion for social justice.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement strategic plans for comprehensive services addressing homelessness, including shelter, housing assistance, and support programs.
- Oversee the daily operations of all programs, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Manage program budgets, secure funding through grants and fundraising, and ensure financial sustainability.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of program managers, staff, and volunteers.
- Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with government agencies, non-profit organizations, community leaders, and businesses.
- Advocate for policies and resources that support individuals experiencing homelessness at local, regional, and national levels.
- Develop and implement data collection and evaluation systems to measure program impact and inform strategic decisions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards,



and best practices in homelessness services.
- Represent the organization publicly, acting as a key spokesperson and thought leader on issues related to homelessness.
- Foster a culture of compassion, innovation, and continuous improvement within the organization.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in social services, with at least 5 years specifically focused on homelessness or housing services.
- Proven track record in strategic planning, program development, and operational management.
- Demonstrated success in fundraising, grant writing, and budget management for non-profit organizations.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams and stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of the complexities of homelessness, including its causes and effective solutions.
- Strong advocacy skills and experience working with policymakers.
- Experience in managing remote teams and operations is a plus.
- Knowledge of the specific challenges and resources within Querétaro City, Querétaro, MX is highly valued.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
