About the Role

Our client, a premier hospitality group focused on luxury coastal experiences, is seeking a seasoned and dynamic Director de Operaciones de Resorts Deportivos Marinos to oversee their flagship property in Acapulco, Guerrero . This senior leadership position is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction across all resort amenities, with a strong emphasis on marine sports and activities. Key Responsibilities

- Oversee all day-to-day operations of the resort, including accommodation, food & beverage, and marine sports activities.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency, profitability, and guest experience.
- Manage departmental budgets, control costs, and maximize revenue streams.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and licensing regulations.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of department managers and staff to achieve exceptional performance.
- Maintain the highest standards of service quality and guest satisfaction.
- Oversee the procurement and maintenance of marine sports equipment and facilities.
- Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies for resort offerings, particularly marine activities.
- Foster strong relationships with local authorities,



suppliers, and community stakeholders.
- Implement innovative programs and services to differentiate the resort in the market.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in luxury hotel or resort management, with a focus on operations.
- Proven experience managing marine sports operations or similar water-based recreational facilities.
- Strong financial acumen, including budget management and P&L; responsibility.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large teams and complex operations.
- Knowledge of the hospitality and tourism industry, particularly coastal and marine tourism.
- Proficiency in hotel management systems and standard office software.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing market demands.
- Passion for hospitality, marine environments, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Reside in or be willing to relocate to Acapulco, Guerrero .
