About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gerente de Proyectos de Construcción para Infraestructura to oversee significant construction projects in the vibrant region of Mérida, Yucatán, MX . This is a crucial role responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale infrastructure development. Key Responsibilities

- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, timeline, and resource allocation.
- Manage all phases of the construction project lifecycle, from initial planning and design to final completion and handover.
- Oversee site operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and government agencies to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures,



and approve invoices, ensuring financial objectives are met.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings with project teams and stakeholders.
- Ensure the quality of work performed by contractors and subcontractors meets project specifications and standards.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and clients.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in managing large-scale infrastructure construction projects.
- Proven expertise in construction planning, scheduling, cost control, and risk management.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and relevant regulations.
- Experience with contract negotiation and administration.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and CAD software is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing site visits with office-based responsibilities.
- Experience with public-private partnership projects is advantageous.
- Valid professional engineering or construction management license is preferred.
