About the Role

Our client, a large-scale industrial complex in Hermosillo, Sonora , is seeking a highly competent Head of Cleaning and Sanitation Services for its plants. This senior management position is responsible for the overall strategic planning, execution, and oversight of all cleaning and sanitation operations across the facility, ensuring compliance with stringent safety, environmental, and operational standards. The adecuado candidate will possess extensive experience in industrial cleaning management, a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, and exceptional leadership skills to manage a large team and complex budgets. This is a vital role in maintaining the operational integrity and safety of a key industrial player in Hermosillo .

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement comprehensive cleaning and sanitation strategies aligned with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee and manage all daily cleaning operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a large team of cleaning supervisors and staff.
- Manage departmental budgets, control expenses, and optimize resource allocation.
- Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Implement and maintain best practices in industrial hygiene and sanitation.
- Oversee the procurement and management of cleaning supplies, equipment, and services.




- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors as required.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the cleaning and sanitation departments.

Requirements

- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in industrial cleaning and sanitation management.
- Proven track record in managing large teams and significant operational budgets.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial cleaning processes, chemical safety, and environmental regulations.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience working within a manufacturing or heavy industry environment is essential.
- Certification in industrial hygiene or safety is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and implementing effective solutions.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Hermosillo .
