About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Coordinador/a de Apoyo Psicosocial to join their team in Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico, MX . This on-site role is essential for providing comprehensive psychosocial support to individuals and families facing various challenges within the community. You will lead and coordinate services aimed at promoting mental well-being, resilience, and social integration. Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of psychosocial support programs.
- Lead and supervise a team of social workers, counselors, and support staff.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify community psychosocial needs and priorities.
- Develop and manage intervention strategies for individuals and groups experiencing stress, trauma, or other psychological difficulties.
- Ensure the provision of high-quality counseling, therapy, and support services.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with community organizations, government agencies, and healthcare providers.
- Develop and implement protocols for crisis intervention and emergency response.




- Manage program budgets and resources effectively.
- Ensure accurate and confidential record-keeping and reporting.Promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma within the community through outreach activities.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in social services or mental health, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or coordination role.
- Demonstrated experience in program development, management, and evaluation.
- Strong knowledge of psychosocial support principles, mental health interventions, and crisis management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in case management systems and reporting tools.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex situations.
- Strong understanding of ethical standards and confidentiality in service provision.
- Experience working with diverse populations in the State of Mexico is highly desirable.
- Commitment to working on-site in Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico, MX .
