About the Role

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical distributor in Jalisco , is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Associate Pharmacist to join their dynamic team in Tlaquepaque . This is a pivotal role where you will contribute significantly to the efficient and safe management of pharmaceutical operations. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards, overseeing inventory, and providing expert guidance to junior staff. Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and direct daily pharmacy operations, ensuring optimal workflow and efficiency.
- Manage pharmaceutical inventory, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and waste disposal, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, verifying prescriptions and ensuring correct dosages and patient information.
- Provide consultation and education to patients regarding medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing pharmacy practice and drug distribution.
- Train and mentor junior pharmacists and pharmacy technicians,



fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication therapy management.
- Conduct regular audits of pharmacy processes and records to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products, therapeutic trends, and regulatory changes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
- Valid and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in Jalisco , MX.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior role.
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software and electronic health record systems.
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Commitment to patient safety and high-quality pharmaceutical care.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and principles.
