About the Role

Our client, a prominent multinational corporation with significant operations in Tijuana , Baja California, is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Specialist in Crisis Management and Business Continuity. This critical role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive plans to ensure the organization's resilience in the face of disruptive events, such as natural disasters, cyberattacks, or pandemics. You will lead risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and coordinate response efforts to minimize impact and ensure operational continuity. The idóneo candidate possesses strong analytical, planning, and leadership skills, with a deep understanding of risk management and business continuity principles. Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and maintain robust crisis management and business continuity plans (BCP).
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to business operations.
- Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address identified risks.
- Coordinate and lead crisis response teams during disruptive events.
- Conduct regular BCP exercises, drills, and simulations to test plan effectiveness and train personnel.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards for business continuity.
- Develop communication strategies for internal and external stakeholders during crises.




- Monitor emerging threats and trends relevant to crisis management and business continuity.
- Provide training and awareness programs to employees on BCP procedures and responsibilities.
- Review and update BCPs regularly to reflect changes in the business environment and organizational structure.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Security Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in crisis management, business continuity planning, or risk management.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing successful BCPs and disaster recovery plans.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies, threat analysis, and incident response protocols.
- Excellent leadership, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills, especially under pressure.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 22301, NFPA 1600).
- Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and manage diverse stakeholder interests.
- Proficiency in project management and reporting tools.
- Experience in the manufacturing or international trade sector is a significant advantage.
