Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement robust quality control plans and procedures for automotive manufacturing processes.
- Monitor production lines remotely, analyzing data from quality checks and inspections.
- Identify root causes of quality defects and non-conformities.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Analyze quality data trends and generate reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant automotive quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949).
- Conduct internal audits and participate in external supplier audits remotely.




- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
- Train and mentor manufacturing staff on quality best practices.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and new quality management techniques.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Quality) or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within the automotive manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, such as IATF 16949.
- Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and other quality analysis tools.
- Experience with root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for remote teamwork.
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Excel, Minitab).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Experience with quality audit processes is a plus.
