About the Role

This contract role, primarily remote, focuses on designing and optimizing spaces and workflows for advanced manufacturing facilities, automation centers, and high-tech industrial complexes. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of industrial engineering principles, material flows, spatial efficiency, and the integration of cutting-edge technologies in manufacturing environments. You will be pivotal in conceptualizing and designing facilities that drive efficiency, innovation, and safety in industrial operations. Key Responsibilities

- Design and plan advanced manufacturing facilities, assembly lines, and industrial spaces.
- Develop conceptual designs and detailed layouts optimizing material flow, equipment placement, and workforce efficiency.
- Collaborate with industrial engineers, robotics specialists, and manufacturing experts to integrate advanced technologies.
- Ensure designs comply with stringent safety standards, environmental regulations, and operational requirements for industrial settings.
- Utilize advanced CAD and BIM software to create detailed architectural and manufacturing process layouts.
- Conduct feasibility studies and site analyses for new industrial facilities or plant reconfigurations.




- Develop specifications for industrial equipment, materials, and construction systems.
- Create 3D models and visualizations to communicate complex industrial designs to stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in industrial automation, smart manufacturing, and sustainable industrial design.
- Provide technical expertise on projects related to advanced manufacturing and logistics in areas such as Coahuila .

Requirements

- Degree in Architecture, Industrial Engineering, or a related field with a focus on industrial design.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the design of industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, or related technical environments.
- Proven experience with advanced CAD and BIM software, preferably with a focus on industrial layouts.
- Strong understanding of industrial engineering principles, lean manufacturing concepts, and supply chain logistics.
- Knowledge of automation technologies, robotics, and their integration into facility design.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and spatial reasoning skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote, contract-based role.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with projects in industrial regions like Saltillo, Coahuila is highly desirable.
